Numerology - The Magic of Numbers

We don't know if the secrets of numerology really are founded in astrology or if they stem from old Hindu traditions, which received them directly from the gods. Old scripts from Egypt, China and India just show us fragments of old mathematical knowledge. 
It is believed, that numerology, the old knowledge about numbers is more than 10.000 years old and can be traced back to Babylon and Egypt. The individual meanings and interpretations might have changed over the centuries, or might have been refined. 
The Chinese for example attributed heat, fire, sun, day and the color white to uneven numbers, while the even numbers symbolized, cold, water, moon, night and the color black. 
The Hebrews translated letters into numbers, which is known as the Kabala. Until now, the numbers and their meaning didn't loose their significance and magic. And now, at the turn of the century, they have reached a new height. Everybody is more or less inclined to trust in one or the other means of taking a peek into the future and the numbers seem less esoteric than reading from your coffee or using a crystal ball. 
So start counting, and let yourself be surprised by the possibilities offered by the ancient knowledge. Once familiar with the way of calculating, you can find many ways to use them and find meaning in the things surrounding you. Numerology is a way to help you get in touch with your inner wisdom and knowledge. Never take it too serious though, it shouldn't lead you into dependence.
